The clasp and the connector to the heart are stainless steel, and a "split ring" attaches the horse shoe to the clasp, for strength. These Chainmaille wishing stars are made with many bright aluminum rings, the design of which captures a swarovski crystal. The necklace chain is an 18" silver plated ball chain with a lobster clasp connector and a 2" extension chain with a cute little heart on the end. There is a smaller matching swarovski wishing star with a lobster clasp and a 5/8" split ring for attaching it to whatever your heart desires!
